Position Summary:
Location: Miami, FL, 33136
Stipends Available!
Pay Rate: $65 - $74 per hour based on experience ($2, 340 - $2, 664 gross weekly)
13 to 16 week assignments with possible extension
12-hour Day and Night Shifts Available
36 hours per week with possible overtime
Health Insurance (including Medical, Dental, & Vision) and Life Insurance Coverage Available
Weekly Pay with Direct Deposit Available

Job Description
WorkSquare is currently looking to hire Med Surg & Med Surg/Tele RN's for great opportunities with a large, Level 1 Trauma hospital located in Miami, FL, 33136.
Position Summary:
- Review of labs per protocol under the supervision of staff member
Assisting with medication refills as needed. Assisting transplant physicians in the clinic as needed
Communicating admission information for outpatient with various departments to secure bed placement
Making arrangements for procedures and diagnostic tests for patients
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure
Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment
Nursing Competencies: Ability to understand, respect, and accommodates patients' preferences and needs with regards to their individual beliefs, customs, and practices
Must have the ability to clearly, accurately, and effectively provide information to doctors, other nurses, patients, and family members
Must have the ability to show compassion, patience and maintain a non-judgmental approach to patients, their families as well as other employees and customers
Responsible to hold the highest standards of professional performance, which include: ethics, cultural diversity, communication, collaboration, evidence-based practice, nursing research, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health
Average patient ratio is 1: 4/5
At least 1 year Level 1 Trauma experience required
Experience in the following units is a plus: Transplant, Trauma Burns, Neuro, Respiratory, and Oncology

Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have at least 1 year of Med Surg or Tele experience in a large hospital setting
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
- Valid FL or compact RN license is required
AHA: ACLS & BLS/CPR required
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening and submit immunization/vaccine records after interviewing
